  1. Create Nostalgic 80's Look and Feel for Eclipse IDE

We all love those good old days of Borland Turbo C IDE . i think most of Retro-Computing Lovers miss the DOS console feeling with ALL UPPERCASE MENUS, no 2D objects, and monocolour icons, Blue Green and Gray World. sometimes i envey C programmers because they stiil can use Turbo c IDE in sandbox. But what about us JAVA programmers , don't we have the right to enjoy those warm sensations of early days of programming

    • 425497 Drag-and-drop folder with .project file to Import project

Eclipse IDE has great feature letting drag-and drop files into Project Explorer.

      Please add option to

      - import folder as project (if it has .project file)
      - create new project (would call wizard)
      - create new general project

        • Sass Code complete and highlight

I saw Less was already supported,
Sass hightlighting and code completion + compile on save would be awesome

          • 412990 Create an "Eclipse IDE" page

Target audience is the end-user community.

This is directly tied to the packages.

A general IDE page, not specifically a "Java IDE" page.

            Should list key (7 +/- 2) features.

            Include pointer to downloads.

Pointer/help for using Marketplace to add new features.

We need screenshots; screenshots should be displayed using some slick JavaScript slideshow feature. Seven-ish screenshots maximum feels about right (negotiable). Examples: JDT/CDT/PDT in action; Git integration.

            • 113112 [Themes] Support global color schemes

It would be real nice if I could globally change the color schemes in eclipse,
this black text on white background is killing me!

I know i can change the back ground of the java editor, but then it doesn't do
anything for the other windows (package explorer, console, problems, etc.)

I also know that I can change the default colors for my OS via the Display
Properties, but I really just want my editor to be dark, not my whole OS.

This is the greates editor ever made, I am surprised that this has not been
              added yet, almost…

              • Multiple search results tabs

Search functionality in Eclipse can only be output to a single tab. IDEs for other technologies (e.g. Visual Studio) offer multiple tabs (Search Results 1 and 2). This can be very useful when comparing occurrences of 2 search terms, e.g. how different named entities are referred to in code across a solution. Please could the added tab be provided? thanks
